Sheffield Digital is the association for my home city’s digital businesses and individuals. For two years, I wrote and produced its communications, including articles, interviews, email newsletters, a podcast and various social media accounts. Apart from being lovely to work with, it exposed me to a wide range of fantastic talent in Sheffield too, which has proved rather handy.
Creating all that content helped Sheffield Digital establish a consistent communications process for the first time. It increased traffic to the website, generated lots of newsletter sign ups and built an audience to support the brilliant work of directors, Mel Kanarek and Chris Dymond.
If you have any interest at all in Sheffield’s digital sector, I encourage you to become a member of Sheffield Digital. It’s a cracking cause.
